Student Placement and Tests
The Department is concerned that students be placed in a course appropriate to their level of ability. Native speakers or any students who are unsure of their level of competency are invited to follow the links below and to read on placement in French, Italian and Spanish.
The deadlines for submission of written placement tests are the following :
Winter 2012
- Wednesday, January 11th (results on Monday, January 16th)
- Tuesday, January 18th (results on Friday, January 20th)
N.B.
- The above are deadlines : students do not have to wait until the deadlines to submit their placement tests.
- Students who submit their placement tests after the deadlines will be informed that the tests will be marked, although a $ 25.00 charge will be incurred.
